Don Tyson "A true friend to all fisherman" Heritage Fishing Hall.

About the Exhibit

As you continue the tour, you will enter the Don Tyson Fishing Heritage Hall that displays magnificent world record replicas of some of the most popular saltwater game species – all graciously donated by Tyson Foods.

This striking hall honors the legacy of Donald “Don J.” Tyson, the former CEO and chairman of Tyson Foods — the world’s leading protein provider. Beyond his business accomplishments, Don Tyson was a passionate outdoorsman, renowned for his love of fishing and his deep commitment to wildlife conservation. He was inducted into the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame in 2005 and served as a dedicated board member. In 1985, he founded The Billfish Foundation, an organization devoted to the conservation of billfish and other oceanic species and remained an active board member throughout his life.
