Native American Heritage Celebration for Homeschoolers

– October 13, 2023 –

Step into the rich tapestry of America's indigenous people at the Native American Heritage Celebration, hosted at Wonders of Wildlife. Immerse your students in a world of Native American art and dance, primitive hunting, and outdoor survival. Explore a vibrant and cultural marketplace, featuring Native American vendors from across the Ozarks, showcasing their crafts and wares.

Ticket purchase includes the following:

  • 1 hour Native American dance, music, and storytelling presentation (see registration for program times)
  • Take home beading project for each student
  • Self-guided tour of Nature’s Best Photography and the Wildlife Galleries
  • Access to all of the booths and activities within the Native American Heritage Celebration.

Admission for homeschool families begins at 1:15pm.
The time slot, listed in registration will be your designated time for program.
All other activities will be available from 1:15pm-6:00pm

Preschool Adventures Learning in Science

Bring your preschooler for a morning filled with exploration and discovery. Together participate in enriching science based activities, crafts, and games that will help them refine or expand their skills and knowledge.

NOTE: These programs are designed for caregivers to interact with, and help facilitate the learning of the registered program participant.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fees listed are PER CHILD.

Student Days Details

Student Days offer an opportunity to experience the wonder at each of our Conservation Attractions at a discounted rate, exclusively for students!

Student Days are offered during

  • January 2nd - 6th
  • April 3rd - 7th
  • September 5th - 8th
  • November 6th - 10th

 

Students ages 12+ and chaperone
* College students must present valid Student ID
* No more than one chaperone/guardian per 2 students

Wonders of Wildlife:
  • Student 4-11 $15
  • 12 and up $20
  • 10% discount on all food, beverage and merchandise purchases at Fish Tales Café, Shipwreck Snack Bar and the Gift Store. Some exclusions apply.
Dogwood Canyon:
  • DWC walking tour only
  • Student 4-11 $5
  • 12 and up $10
  • 10% off at gift shop
Top of the Rock
  • Museum only not Cave Trail
  • Student 4-11 $5
  • 12 and up $10
  • Guests will still have to pay the parking cost.

This offer is not available on weekends and/or holidays. Tickets must be purchased at the ticket counter, not available online.
