Why wait until midnight to celebrate the new year? Join us at Wonders of Wildlife on Wednesday, Dec. 31, for a family-friendly Noon Year’s Eve countdown. Guests can reserve a designated ball drop time in the Great Barrier Reef, where families can count down together. Afterward, enjoy a memorable day exploring the museum, creating crafts and participating in interactive activities as we ring in 2026 together. Lucky guests may even find a golden ball during the drop and win a special prize!
Two time slots are available; 11 a.m. and noon with suggested arrival 45 minutes prior to the scheduled ball drop.
This is a ticketed, timed event that is free with general admission or membership. Guests must reserve a ball drop time when purchasing a general admission ticket or through their member portal.
