Celebrating Service: Veterans Day at Wonders of Wildlife
Published November 5, 2025
At Wonders of Wildlife, we proudly salute those who have served our nation. During Branson/Springfield Navy Week this August, we welcomed the U.S. Navy with interactive exhibits, STEM showcases, and a powerful visit from Captain Christopher “Chowdah” Hill of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. These events celebrated 250 years of naval excellence and connected our community with the heart of military service.
This Veterans Day, we continue that spirit of gratitude with our Honor Flight Letter Writing Event on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests are invited to write heartfelt letters to veterans traveling on upcoming Honor Flights — an opportunity to thank them for their courage and sacrifice. Members of Honor Flight of the Ozarks will be on-site to share stories and help inspire meaningful thank-you letters from guests.
This event is free with aquarium admission and memberships. Join us in honoring those who’ve protected our freedoms — past, present, and future.
