Winter Break Camp: Winter Science to the Extreme!

Welcome to Winter Science to the Extreme! In this camp we’re going to learn about extreme winter weather. How it’s made, how scientists are able to predict and track it, and how scientists are able to classify different types of extreme weather. We’ll also learn about some historic moments involving extreme winter weather like the Great Blizzard of 1888, the Blizzard of 1978, and many others. Through experiments, games and crafts campers will learn about all of these subjects along with how these subjects relate to extreme winter habitats.
