Dig into the past to protect our future! In Unearthed: Fossils & Forests, campers will explore how ancient cultures around the world adapted to and shaped their environments. Through the lens of environmental archaeology, we’ll uncover how people in North America, the Arctic, Australia, and the Amazon used natural resources sustainably to survive and thrive. Campers will step into the role of archaeologists to investigate how past human-environment interactions can teach us to care for our planet today. Join us as we connect ancient lifeways with modern conservation!
