This month, we honor and celebrate the indigenous people of America. Join us as we step into a day in the life of the first conservationists! With special guests from the American Indian Center of Springfield, we will discuss types of tools, art, and strategies indigenous people used to create meaningful bonds with nature. We will also be investigating various types of wildlife and ecosystems, listening to folk tales, dancing to traditional music, crafting tools, and even honing various hunting and agricultural skills!
